Veronica Mars March 24, 2010

In a long list of things I missed the first time round is Veronica Mars. I only watched it recently and was hooked from the start. It was repeated and I was sad to see that it was cancelled before the end of the run so it ends a little suddenly.

If you’ve never watched it then you should definitely check it out. It starts Kristen Bell as a student who also works as a private eye for her dad. They live in a town called Neptune which is full of rich kids and poorer families.

Each epsiode Veronica solves a mystery and there is also a bigger mystery that unravels over the course of the season.

The writing is really smart and witty and has lots of in jokes and great lines.

Even though it ended too soon you should still watch the episodes that got made.

There is also talk of a movie which would be awesome but i don’t know if that will happen or not.

Workout Music

So i just read that Brad Pitt likes to work out to Dizzee Rascal. Specifically the track Bonkers.

That’s one of my tunes to get me going too. I also like Rihanna and most hip hop.

But saying that I’ve been putting off going to the gym lately.

I really don’t how how people motivate themselves…its just so boring.

I can’t stand jogging or the gym so I think I’m going to have to start playing sports.

Maybe I’ll try tennis or badmington, they look pretty energetic.

Have you seen Paranormal Activity?

I’m pretty sure that anyone that wanted to see this has already done so. But if you’re like me you probably put off watching it.

I scare pretty easily so I didn’t want to watch it but everyone kept on telling me how good it was.

If you are going to watch Paranormal Activity then make sure you’re not on your own!

I think this is one of the scariest movies I’ve ever seen but really awesome at the same time.

It’s a low budget movie and uses handheld like Blair Witch but I think this is way better.

Everything takes place inside the one house and it really feels claustrophobic.

I won’t give away anything important in case you haven’t watched it yet but I really liked the way they don’t have big name actors or cheesy special effects.

It really goes to show how uneccessary a lot of that stuff is. I’ll be the first to admit that I will watch something just cause an actor I like is in it. I guess thats not really necessary.
